The Lions Club of Kathmandu Lord Buddha successfully conducted a Tree Plantation and Tree Care Service Program in Chakhundole with the participation of 25 volunteers, including Lions and non-Lions members.
During the four-hour service activity, 210 trees were planted, contributing to the conservation and restoration of the local environment. The program was honored by the presence of District Chief Coordinator–Environment, Lion Menaka Lama.
Since 2018, the club has been regularly involved in tree plantation and tree care activities in the Chakhundole area, reflecting its long-term commitment to environmental conservation. This initiative further demonstrates the club’s dedication to the Lions International Global Cause of Environment and its commitment to the “Go Green” mission.
Through continued environmental action, Lions Club of Kathmandu Lord Buddha remains committed to creating a greener, healthier, and more sustainable community.
