In response to the recent devastating floods and landslides in Rasuwa and the country’s ongoing disaster situation, the Lions Club of Kathmandu Lord Buddha (LCK Lord Buddha) successfully organized an emergency blood donation program at Satdobato on short notice, collecting 42 pints of blood.
The program was organized with the leadership of Lions Club of Kathmandu Lord Buddha, in collaboration with Satdobato Youth Club, Lions Club of Kathmandu Little Buddha, Lions Club of Kathmandu Buddha Matribhumi, and Inner Wheel Club of Satdobato.
The emergency blood donation initiative was organized with the objective of helping prevent possible blood shortages during the treatment of people affected and injured by the recent flood and landslide disaster. Despite being organized within a very short period, the program received encouraging participation from voluntary blood donors and supporting organizations.
LCK Lord Buddha extends its heartfelt gratitude to all the blood donors who participated in this humanitarian initiative and made their valuable blood donation. The club also expresses sincere appreciation to all individuals and organizations who directly and indirectly contributed their time, effort, support, and coordination to make the program successful.
