Lions Club of Kathmandu Lord Buddha successfully organized a “Hunger Relief” program at Snehi Kaakh Old Age Home, Dhapakhel, on the occasion of the birthdays of Samir Khadka and Anu K.C on 4th September. The program provided meals to senior citizens residing at Snehi Kaakh, sharing happiness and care with the elderly community.
The program was graced by District Governor Lion Surya K.C., 1st VDG Lion Shailendra Mohan Bhattarai, and 2nd VDG and Founder President of LCK Lord Buddha Lion Bishnu Bhandari, along with District Administrator and Past President MJF Lion Hari Adhikari, Immediate Past President Lion Prakash Raj Kandel, President of LCK Little Buddha Lion Jit Bahadur Bogati, Lions members, and well-wishers.
The program was coordinated by Lion K.B. Poudel and Lion Umesh Dhital, with sponsorship support from MJF Lion Hari Adhikari and Samir Khadka.
On the occasion, President Lion Suresh Bhandari welcomed and thanked the senior Lions leaders for their presence and encouragement. He expressed sincere appreciation to the Snehi Kaakh family for their cooperation, hospitality, and coordination, and extended heartfelt birthday wishes to Samir Khadka and Anu K.C.
District Governor Lion Surya K.C. appreciated President Lion Suresh Bhandari and the Club for organizing the meaningful service activity, extended birthday wishes to both Samir Khadka and Anu K.C., and thanked the Snehi Kaakh family for their valuable support.
The program reflected the Lion Year 2026/2027 theme, “Caring by Sharing,” by bringing together Lions leaders, members, and well-wishers to share happiness and extend care and support to approximately 100 senior citizens at Snehi Kaakh.
