About Us

Our Story

Established in 2018, Lions Club of Kathmandu Lord Buddha began its journey with a shared commitment to bring together individuals dedicated to serving people and making a meaningful difference in society. Lion Bishnu Bhandari, our Charter President, played an instrumental role in establishing the club and laying the foundation for its journey of service.

The club initially operated under Lions District 325B1 and is now proudly part of District 325i. Over the years, we have grown as a club while continuing to strengthen our commitment to community service, fellowship and leadership.

Today, the club has 32 Lions members, including 20 permanent members, representing diverse professional backgrounds and experiences. United by the spirit of “We Serve,” our members work together to identify community needs and turn our collective efforts into meaningful action.

Our service initiatives span health camps, blood donation, environmental conservation, youth empowerment, digital literacy, hunger relief and community support. Through these initiatives, we strive to reach communities, empower individuals and contribute to a healthier, more inclusive and sustainable society.

As we look toward the future, Lions Club of Kathmandu Lord Buddha remains committed to serving with compassion, leading with integrity and working together to create lasting positive change.

Our journey continues—with service at our heart and our community at the center of everything we do.
